As an honorary Cubs fan :smiley: having visited Wrigley just once back in 2004 I have to point out that some goat or summink has to be allowed to stroll around the place before they EVER win anything again.

I think you have to factor in the role of [booming echo effect] DESTINY.[/b e effect] When a team hasn’t won the World Series in anyone’s memory, destiny can kick in. In 2004, the Cardinals had a storybook season, right up until the last 4 games. They crossed the path of destiny, and it was all over. :smack:
