Damn, son. Don’t hold back.
I can honestly say I’ve very very rarely been so happy to be wrong as I am tonight. It’s a good day.
Moore is stlll a no-show at his campaign rally.
Will the appointed replacement serve out the rest of McCain’s term (i.e. till 2022) or will there be a special election?
phew
Before we go overboard riding the progressive wave…just as how last year the Democrats nominated the only person in America who could lose to Donald Trump; Alabama Republicans nominated the only candidate who could lose to a Democrat.
Don’t get me wrong…picking up a Senate seat is huge. But I’m not sure we can read too many portents, just yet.

“Moore will be coming soon”. And they’re singing hymns…
Uh, folks, might want to go over to the Alabama Secty. of State website. Latest numbers are in Moore’s favor…

“We’re still waiting for some results to come in, and Roy Moore will be here soon…”
Um, now someone is singing hymns on stage??
Roy Moore…got rolled.
Ohmyghod-The Moore rally(minus PedoClaus) is singing hymns.
Still, claiming that Bannon “dragged” Trump into the fiasco is being exceptionally, almost ridiculously, generous towards Trump.
As Shawn Colvin sang, “You don’t have to drag me down; I descend”
I agree. But this is huge in terms of morale boosting and candidate recruiting. Democratic state and local office holders who were wondering whether they should run for governor, representative, or senator, will all be more likely to do so because of this win, and Republicans might be less likely.
Last updated at 9:34 and are not official. I seriously doubt Jones’ campaign would let him go out and give a victory speech if they didn’t have confidence in the networks’ results.

Source close to WH: “It’s devastating for the president… this is an earthquake… Virginia but on steroids… the president has egg on his face” because of Bannon.
Those numbers are about 100,000 votes each behind the current tallies.
If that’s Eastern time, it’s over an hour behind.
That’s because it doesn’t include Madison Co, which according to NY Times went 57-40 for Jones.
I think the page isn’t quite up to date. It shows Jones with 553,931 votes vs. Moore 560,083 votes. Other sites are showing Jones ~640,000 vs. Moore ~630,000.
