Well, waddaya know. It was right.
That was a good one.
Ken was having a bad bad day. Nancy took advantage and now we have a new champ.

My answer was the brilliant “some cruise line company.”
I also got the two daily doubles Ken messed up on wrong as well. Both seemed harder than usual.
However, to my credit, I nailed the last four questions - the ones about Patton’s burial place and the three sports arenas - which no one else got.
Here’s hoping Nancy wins at least a handful of games. She seemed like a smart cookie.
The question Ken will be asked for the rest of his life.
Where you getting your taxes done this year? If I had a dollar for everytime he will hear that joke I’d be rich too.
No, he bet exactly the same way he always did: just enough to bring himself up to a multiple of $10,000 if he got it right.
Oh, I forgot: I was stumped by the FJ question, too. Just like my hero, Ken.
Thanks, Troy.
And according to CNN, he can give the expected answer:
Just kinda curious- do you think H&R Block would be a good choice for him? Or will his return likely get so complicated that he’ll need a CPA?
Aside from the temporary tax-season workers, H&R Block does have highly qualified tax specialists that work year round.
Just watched the 20/20 special tonight. He had to lead a double life during the taping of the show. He was sworn to secrecy so he’d leave his job (his boss knew) every few weeks to fly to California to tape the show. He stayed in a flea bag hotel because the show doesn’t pick up the tab for the hotel, just the flight.
I got it pretty quick. The white collar phrase helped a lot.
A friend of mine owns a string of non- H&R tax franchises, and we never see him from January to May of any given year.
Someone who watches Jeopardy! a lot more than I will have to answer this, but… Was this question a “repeat”? I seem to recall this question being used before as a Final Jeopardy question, because I remembered the answer having to do with tax preparation.
Either that, or I’ve become especially clairvoyant…
I saw the episode the night before last.
I got the Final Jeopardy question immediately. I can’t believe he missed it. He wrote his incorrect answer down right away, too.
My wife and I also wondered if he threw the game. He missed both daily doubles in Double Jeopary and the Final Jeopardy question?!
No, he didn’t. There was a shot of him looking stright ahead, as if he had already written something, but then he wrote it in the last second or two.
