Canada-U.S. AIDS Vaccine Ride

So in a few weeks I’m heading up to Montreal to ride my bike to Portland, Maine, for the AIDS Vaccine Ride that I’ve been training for this summer. This trek will take five days, crossing fifty miles of Quebec, as well as the states of Vermont and New Hampshire, and a little bit of southern Maine. This is similar to one I did last year that ran from Boston to New York, 'cept that it’s longer and runs across a different part of New England.

This year, however, fund-raising hasn’t been going as well as last year. I’m still trying to get enough donations together to do it. If I don’t get enough together, I’ll have to call it off and spend my vacation time some other way. The money raised, of course, will go toward research for an AIDS vaccine.

If anyone out there is interested in helping me out (or is able to help me out, or knows someone who would be interested) then feel free to email me at nuclearfurniture@yahoo.com and I’ll send you a donation form. If you’re interested, you can get the form off the Vaccine Ride site, which is linked here. I’ll need to have the forms sent directly to me, so email me if you’re interested and I’ll tell you where to send them.

I thank anyone for their help. All I’ll be able to offer for thanks is an action-packed post about the Ride, as well as the opportunity to contribute toward finding a cure for AIDS. If you want to know more about the organization that’s sponsoring the event, the site linked below will go into details, as well.

Thanks again.

One more thing I forgot to mention: donations are tax deductable, in case this helps anyone.

This needs at least one bump.

Good luck, Chance
Jim
