I guess few will comment on the French language debate, but we can follow up tomorrow on the English debate.
Frankly, Duceppe / BQ won all the way - all his attacks against Paul Martin hit home, and he was pretty good against Harper, reminding Quebeckers that Conservatives are very far socially from them.
The NDP was disturbingly friendly towards the BQ and apart from Martin, I thought that Layton loss a lot. He looked like a car salesman and he didn’t go farther then trying to sell an ideal Canada. Everything he said was said better by Duceppe and was undermined by attacks by Martin and Harper on the cost of all he is proposing…
But I think in general debates like this are mostly content free. It is just too bad that we don’t have forums like SDMB to talk and discuss with them…
