I’m curious how fast or slow your CERB (CanEmergRelBenefit) hit your account? Wondering if our experience is the norm. But, of course, no one to confer with, Ha!
Hubs was late to apply, thought his income would be too low, AND loathes a phone tree to maneuver. I was prepared to do the legwork setting up a Rev Can account, and then brave the website. But then discovered you could do it over the phone. It took a couple of tries but got through quick, answered all correctly. Even applied for the next period at the same time. Not horrible. AT ALL.
They claimed it would be three business days, but, I mean, it’s government, right?
I called it in Wed just after lunch. Both payments are already in his account.
HOLY CRAP! Colour me wildly impressed.
I’m wondering if this is a one off, or is the whole system actually working this quickly/efficiently everywhere? I fully anticipated it being overwhelmed and taking ages and ages.
Can you share your experience? How long did it take? Are you still waiting?
