I play a lot of Candy Crush, on an older MacBook. Recently, Firefox was having trouble and I couldn’t upgrade anymore on the OS I already had, so I had 10.6.8 installed and updated Firefox. This fixed everything with the browser except now when I’m playing Candy Crush, it flickers/flashes which is very irritating - this doesn’t happen on any other page, tho CC is the only game I play on the laptop. I updated Flash but that didn’t help. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
Thanks!
Adobe suggest Flash player 12. (Rather than 13) for 10.6.8

Download and run the Flash Uninstaller from:

-
Download and install the latest non 12.x version of Flash

Thank you for trying, but unfortunately it’s still doing it after I installed Flash 12. Sigh. May be time to replace this laptop …
Well there are drivers for MaC OS … You can get an idea of what video hardware you have by this method… Update Mac OS X Graphics Driver
Then the manufacturer , AMD.com for ATI, or nvidia.com for Nvidia… , may have the driver
I got the list of what all I have, but I haven’t been able to translate it into whether I have ATI or Nvidia? Or what driver I might need?
