My new Canon mx922 works great on most functions. I wish to make my own layout and print directly onto the printable cd/dvd s. However, the method that they use is very difficult for me. Normal print on cd will allow a copy of an original commercial disc and then it will print that. This is NOT what I need!
My Epson printers are doing a great job directly printing on the cd/DVDs.
Has anyone had this problem? If so, would appreciate info how it can be resolved.

I have an MX-922 and print on DVDs all the time. But I am not sure what you are asking. I use their software to design the labels and have no problem with it other than the tendency of the tray to not “catch” as it aligns - and I have to push it a bit to help it along as it starts.
I too have had issues with this before, actually on several canon printers and some to the point where I must push the paper a little bit to have it feed, its really irritating.
OP, I am also not quite sure what you’re asking, could you clarify what you are trying to do and what exactly is going wrong?
