Can't find old posts

Much to the consternation of Dopers of good taste everywhere, I’ve recently returned to the boards. My chief reason for re-subscribing was to be able to re-read some of my old posts. Yes, I realize that’s narcissistic.

I’m surprsed to find that I can’t seem to locate any of my posts prior to 2002. I know about the Winter of Our Missed Content and everything (hell, I lived through it with the rest of you), but is there a reason that I can’t find anything from before that?

When I search for all my posts, I get 750 results, which is a suspiciously round number.

Did you guys add an archive while I was gone?

Sorry if this is covered in a FAQ. I looked but didn’t see.

The search only returns 750 results. Try searching individual forums, or returning “Oldest First” (instead of the default newest). According to Jerry, some threads have been offloaded and will, maybe, be returned later.
