I don’t think the article is misleading exactly. It makes it clear that it isn’t Fiorna directly giving to PP. even the headline stresses that its her foundation directed by another group.
Beyond that, the article is a little confusing as to who exactly is doing what. But the situation itself seems confusing, so I’m not sure thats the articles fault. Fiorna is the chairman of the Fiorna Foundation, which isn’t a Foundation and has no chairperson. She claims to direct the spending, but it appears that a separate foundation just uses her “foundation” to draw funds from and distribute themselves. Which is fine, but than why lie about it? If Fiorna wants to claim she gives out money herself, why not just do that (or have an underling do it) rather than give it to a separate group and then tell a rather pointless lie.
It’s tougher being a conservative, and I know, having used to be one. You have to stop thinking. You have to ignore unpleasant facts. You have to tolerate racists and religious fanatics.
Hope you didn’t sell stock at the end of 2008 when your conservative friend Mr. Bush and his buddies was in the middle of destroying the economy.
Of course, now that the extremists are calling Paul Ryan a liberal, criticism of at least some liberals might be called for.

Drug use flat? You’ve got to be kidding me!!! It goes up every day and shows no sign of slowing down. Profanity is not an issue? Of course not. Because you don’t think it means any thing. Except it’s just another indicator of the direction our country is going, which is DOWN! And you don’t know what disrespect for the law means? Spoken like a true liberal that only wants to see evil become normal. I once used to tell people we are slowly but surely being programmed to accept mediocrity. Unfortunately, we have progressed well beyond that. Liberals have taught their young that right is wrong and the principles this country was founded on are outdated. I for one did not fight for your freedom to have you vote mine away. (Saw that on a T-shirt.) THAT’S why I will forever support and defend the 2nd amendment. But that’s another issue for another time.

I would tell you not to drink or smoke, only that it’s bad for your health. From there it’s up to you. My best bud is a very heavy smoker, but I don’t say anything to him about it to him and we’re together just about every day. He also has a foul mouth. The only thing I do is remind him from time to time about using the Lord’s name in vein so often and he he actually does remembers that. Until a couple months later I remind him again, and he always says: “Oh yeah, been doing that too much , haven’t I”.

ISTM we can learn just about all we need to know about Fiorina’s campaign by the fact that 5 weeks plus 3 days went by between post #154 before Thanksgiving & #155 yesterday.
That much time during this phase of the campaign with no news-bite worthy of comment by the SDMB punditocracy is damning to say the least.
Yeah, and seeing this thread pop just now gave me hope that she made news by dropping out of the race.
Koufax would have thrown a no-hitter every time out with that much spin.
