I haven’t watched any of the commentaries, as I’m enjoying (for once) having something I can’t predict be unspoilered also. (Although I just discovered spoilers show up when you quote. Ah well. I only saw the first sentance, and I sort of thought that anyway. Still, bummer that it’s out there! I hate commentaries with spoilers!)

Part of my delicious confusion on the issue is that multiple characters fit both avatars, and the description of the avatars themselves are interchangable (A good guy who does bad things and a bad guy who does good things - well, duh! Who is that NOT describing?) Pair that with a screenwriter’s love of a good twist, and I’m not certain things won’t shift again and again before they finally settle.

Still, with the amount of last-minute edits and changes to the script, I’m not even certain that your spoilered commentary will remain true! :wink: It seems as if even the storywriters don’t know exactly where their muses are leading them.

I don’t even know what Earth 2 is! Haven’t seen the Spongebob movie, although I enjoy the show. I hope Clancy Brown earns at least one Emmy while Carnivale is on the air. Nick Stahl has been great on the show also and it’s great to see Michael Anderson in a good, meaty role he can sink his teeth into. I’ve liked him since Twin Peaks.

the speculation for this show is one of my favorite things about it. I honestly cannot think of another show on TV that can create this much discussion just about what might happen.

Less than a week to the premiere! I may just throw a Carnivale party.
