Carrot Preserves

I recently purchased a jar of carrot preserves at a shop that specializes in Turkish and Persian foods. I don’t know quite what I was expecting. This stuff is really, really intensely sweet. What does one do with it?

PB&J? That’s the first thing I’d try. Or spread them on biscuits or toast. You know, basic jelly/jam/preserves usage.

Swirl a few tbs into whipped cream cheese and use as a dip. I had a delicious jar of carrot marmalade once. Good on buttered toast too!
