In this thread, Cartooniverse asserts:
My God, I remember that video! I saw it on a German version of MTV (called “Viva”, IIRC) while I was in Russia… the damn thing has stuck with me ever since. It truly is lame. In fact, several people I know who’ve seen it agree that the curious look crossing Don’s face every so often doesn’t mean “Where’d that pretty woman go?” but “Where’d my career go?”
I hope your career has fared much better than his, Cartooniverse.
But thanks for the memory of a laugh at a cheesy celebrity’s expense!
[sub]I can’t figure out why there’s a line break in front of the link. Please do not let this malfunction detract from your reading enjoyment of this post.[/sub]
Incidentally, having been reading the boards and Cartooniverse’s sparkly posts for a while now, I’ve come to realise that he must have a profile page on a film/tv/something site for his camera/various work since he’s done such an impressive range of stuff. Not knowing his real name, obviously i can’t find it for myself so…
I know you must read this thread, so do ya? Go ooooon, bring it out for show and tell

HOLY SHIT !!! :o Wow. Okay. Olentzero, ya blew me away here. Don Johnson. God love him, everyone deserves to make a living right? Why did he have to chose the television industry, when there’s a dearth of good roofers out there???
The career is going along more or less nicely, thank you
Francesca um… I’m not comfortable i.d.'ing myself here to that extent and besides, we all get to live and die by our postings here. If I had a web site ( and, at some point soon I will, thanks to the kind encouragements of one brilliant creative new friend, Yosemitebabe , whose artistic achievements inspire me ), you’d be able to get an eyeful. For now, mum’s the woid more or less.
E-mail me if you wish, that’s cool. I’d better shut up here, my leviathan ego is blown away as it is. Shit, for someone who loves words I can’t find the correct ones right now.
We return you to your regularly scheduled MPSIMS already in progress on many of your local stations.
