Don is an accomplished actor. He’s been on several movies and TV shows. I’m sure he’s quite well off from starring such prestigious roles as Sonny Crockett and Nash Bridges.
What the hell does he need with another 8 billion? The hundreds of millions he already has aren’t enough? Is it worth the risk of a hefty jail sentence?
Maybe he’s going to privately bankroll an initiative to change all the “Welcome to France” signs so they say “Welcome to France Unless You’re American In Which Case You Must Check In At This Little Booth —> So We Can Verify Your Motives While You Enjoy A Nice Plate Of FRENCH!!! Toast.”
I dunno, do you really think he is worth hundreds of millions? Miami Vice was a long time ago, and Nash is no longer being made. Both are hour-long dramas, for which there is not usually much of a syndication market. None of his movie roles have been in huge blockbuster type hits.
I’m just saying its possible he could be hard up for cash. Many famous show business types and athletes manage to blow their millions.
There’s no way in HELL Don Johnson is worth 8 billion dollars.
He’s crossing the Swiss-German border with a few passengers, some of whom he doesn’t know well. Occam’s Razor: the certificates belong to one of the mystery passengers.
There is no way that Don Johnson has $8 billion; Oprah’s media empire only just topped $1 billion. So the explanation that most readily suggests itself to me is that DJ was laundering money for some organization.
But, now what kind of organization would have that much money? I wouldn’t think that most drug cartels would have that kind of cash (I might be totally wrong here). This is WILD speculation, but the thing that comes to mind is oil money. Oil money being used for something nefarious. Could you imagine if it came out that the linchpin of international terrorist funding was Don Johnson?
Again, completely wild speculation but just the thought of it made me crack up.
