Thanks for going to the trouble to post the video and share in your thread – really cute, and your kitty reminds me of my first cat (may he rest in peace). I’m always amused at the new things I see individual kitties doing – there’s not one of them with the same bizarre preferences and habits as the next one!
The look on kitty’s face when human picks up and bites the apple is priceless. Classic NOT YOURS.
Then the apple is replaced and kitty continues licking the juicy sweetness as if nothing had happened.
One of our ragdolls really likes oranges, which I always understood to be a sort of cat repellent. I love cats 
Dogs like apples, too. I used to hold my cores for our dog and she would delicately nibble them right down to the seeds.

I grew up with a cat that had a strange fondness for fruit. He loved apples, oranges, pineapple, etc. All was good until we found out that banana gave him some nasty diarrhea.
I had one that loved avocados, she would paw at the knees of anybody eating one. She also liked the smell of peaches but never tried to eat one.
We had a cat that would eat, literally, anything edible. We couldn’t leave greenish fruit out to ripen, especially not peaches. He would kill a cereal box left on the counter and eat up all its guts, down to licking the cereal dust out of the corners of the inner bag.
Our dog loves asparagus almost as much as he loves meat.
Your cat needs to man up and BITE that apple!
If you give a dog a slice of apple, they chew it with this wide grin on their face as if it was the best thing they’ve eaten ever. Then “i can haz mor appl?”

My cat won’t eat any “human” food unless she sees us eating it first. I tried to give her tuna the other day, and she looked at it like it was toxic. I sit down with my tuna and crackers, and she’s all over the fish.
My Siamese girl loves asparagus MORE than she loves meat. If you give her a plate with a small bit of meat on it, and also an asparagus spear, guess which one she’ll eat first?
Or broccoli
Had a cat once that went for grapes. Ate 'em up, spit out the seeds.
One time I was eating sausage with sauerkraut and one of my cats came up to my plate. I figured he was going to go for a piece of sausage, but instead he started lapping up the sauerkraut juice.
I had a cat steal and eat half an over-ripe cantaloupe, once. He liked tomatoes, too. Spanky was just plain weird.
Well, of course! She is, after all, the Queen of the Universe, and you, dear human, are only her lowly taster…
What’s funny to me is that in the wild cats are 99% carnivores, and the other 1% is pretty much grass and/or whatever the prey just ate. But domestic cats will eat a remarkable variety of really weird stuff. I have one who goes nuts over mint, which is normally an even better cat deterrent than citrus. The others just look at her like “you are one freaky kitty…”

Well cats can’t taste sweet things, so I wonder what she wants. I had a cat that drank coffee, but she’d only drink it if there was milk in it, so I reckon that is what she was after
