Once, one of our cats was caught behind the books on a shelf, and when she ran away, a screwdriver fell down. I never did figure out what she was doing back there, but I know for sure neither of the humans in the house left the screwdriver there.

Lucy is Gremlin - no. She’s a cranky ol’ feline, not a Gremlin.
Dot is now Bounder. That I could almost see. She is constantly bounding from one place to another, will not sit still.
Mayme is Sloey. Nope. Just nope.

Ella the Hellacat aka the Tri-coloured Glutton became Morgana which isn’t a bad fit as I think about it.
I just stick with ‘Cat’.

We had a cat for whom we kids were supposed to come up with a name. When we couldn’t agree on one he ended up being TC - short for The Cat. When we got a kitten later she became LC for little Cat.
I got “Mrs Grump” on the first try and “Minerva” on the second try for ours. The first is too precious but I guess the second has a classic quality to it.
Her actual name is Maizie but I mainly just call her “Cat-Cat”.
