I kiss both my kitties sometime. I’ll drop a smooch on the back of their heads as I’m walking by. They kiss me right back, too. The little one, who’s half-siamese half something else (whatever it is makes her look like someone was playing pin the tail on the cat 'cause her tail is a racoon’s tail on a little while and brown splotched body with a siamese head), will come by, climb on top of me and bump her nose to mine and try to lick my chin. My other kitty, who’s black and sleek and tries to be elegant, will walk over and put his nose a hair’s breadth from mine, then abruptly rub his head all over my face and neck. Then he’ll flop on his back and waggle his paws in the air trying to tempt me to rub his stomach. God, they’re sweet!
A word of caution to all you kitty kissers out there! Please be careful about kissing your kitties too loudly. Just have someone kiss you on the ear, and you will realize how painful it might be to a kitty if it’s loud.
I kiss my three kitties (but softly!). Boogie likes to wake me up with kisses when he wants to go out and kill things. When Thumbelina was a baby kitten, she used to try to nurse off of my face, so sometimes I’d have little kitten hickies on my chin and cheeks. (I found her in a creek after a thunderstorm when she was about 4-5 weeks old.)
Clouseau and Boogie like to visit me in the bathroom. They especially like to watch the toilet flush. (“Where does it go? It runs down that hole! Oooh, it’s coming back up! Try to catch it!”)
Thumbelina likes to rub her face on my clean toes when I get out of the shower.
My husband kisses the kitties. He also bites them on the back of the neck and makes growly-purry sounds. They seem to take it as a sign of affection.
I kiss my cat Pepsi, but my son’s cat Buddy has to find his own smooches. Pepsi will usually respond with a nose lick or rub his head all over my face. He’s docile enough that I can bury my face into his soft underbelly fur and make growling noises.
The standard joke in our house is, “How many cats does it take to watch you go to the bathroom?” Answer: “All of them.”
I just kissed my kitty upon reading this thread (he is on my lap, as always). I kiss them all the time on their foreheads, cheeks, and noses, and they seem to like it to varying degrees.
Sometimes they even seek out kisses. Shadow will come over to me when I’m sitting down and press his cheek against mine. Achmed will sit on my chest and press his forehead against my face for long periods of time. I interpret both of these actions as the kitties kissing me.
They also kiss each other. I’m sure many of you who have multiple cats have seen them in each other’s arms, licking each other’s heads. It’s so cute!
My litter box is in the bathroom, just opposite the toilet. Samantha comes in there and will go to the bathroom with me, even if it’s only a drop, she makes the effort.
I think it’s a group smell thing.
Also, she takes kisses better if I rub my nose at the base of her tail and in her fur, generally, first. Then my smell is on her, and she will come up to me and touch noses, just to affirm that we belong to each other and I am marked. I rub my hair on her before I shower for same reasons, to mark her. She loves that.
That sign of affection is, “Hey, so we gonna mate or what?” IIRC, toms bite the back of the female’s neck during mating.
Yes, yes yes. I give all my kitties kisses, and Buffy and Misty give kisses back.
Misty likes to headbutt my face and usually ends up with my lipstick allover her head as a result. Stupid cat.
Mother cats also bite their offspring on the back of the neck, though.
Another kitty kisser here. Who woulda thunk it?
I’d love to know why kitties enjoy the underwear hammock while I’m in the reading room. :dubious:
I kiss my friends’ cats. I even have pictures.

Squinks: http://rinni.iputthedotinthe.com/images/xmasday/xmasday%20063.jpg
Tee hee! They’re bathroom cats, too. Ninny Twit always jumps on my lap as I’m peeing, I don’t pull my pants down very far because cat claws in my bare leg as I pee doesn’t feel like a very good time. Squinks jumps on my shoulders as I pee, which sucks, since she does it from the sink which is quite a distance away. Once I held my hand out at her to prevent her from jumping as I peed, but as soon as I stood up, I saw her flying through the air at me and I backed away instinctively… she hooked my arm a little and fell. Neither of us was seriously hurt, and she continued to purr, and she did eventually wind up on my shoulders as I washed my hands. I walked downstairs wearing a little kitty shawl.
They aren’t my cats, but they might as well be!
I kiss my cats on the little spot just above their nose where the fur is really thick. I love that.
My dog gets lots of kisses on her muzzle too.
The kitten drools when he purrs, so you take a risk kissing him when he’s happy.
Yes
I generally stick to scratching, stroking, and rumpling my cats. They all like having their tails (gently) pulled, as the finish to a stroke from the head down the back.
Squash kisses me. At least, he slams his cold wet little nose into my face whenever possible, especially when he wants me to throw the fetch toy and I’m ignoring him (like when I’m trying to fall asleep).
Since I live alone, I don’t bother closing the bathroom door, and generally have at least one visitor while I’m occupied. I’ve had all five orange boys swirl in and out in the morning, when they’re getting strident about breakfast.
I do kiss my two horses on their soft, warm noses – does that count?
I kiss and cuddle ALL my kitties!
They get UBER love!
They all have competitions to see who can get into the bathroom with me in the morning, most of the time it’s all three.
The two old girls pick on the little lad, so he does actually sit on my lap when I’m on the loo!
It’s a tad disconcerting, but better than three screaming furballs with claws flying round a very small space.
Sometimes they let me kiss them right on their noses, and then they have sneazing fits! It’s SO cute and funny!
I kiss my little 9-month old Siam - oh, how he hates it. But, he’s so cute I simply cannot resist.

I am also a cat kisser. I can’t help it, they are so snuggly and seem to enjoy it. Well, to be honest, Abby hates it. But Bo and Hanna like it, and I will continue to kiss them every chance I get.
Hanna visits me in the bathroom, she loves to hang around on the tub ledge when I bathe. Bo and Abby never come in the bathroom.
We have three kitties. My wife kisses them on the head, but I don’t. I do as EddyTeddyFreddy said, and rub them all over and give lots of gentle head scratchies and give them full-length strokes from their shoulders to the end of their tails, and they seem to like that a lot. I do nuzzle them with my nose on their head and ears and blow warm air onto them, and they like that, too.
Our first kitty, Zippo, has picked me as his person, and he will head-butt me. Oddly, he will sleep on me in bed, but he won’t get in my lap or sit with me in a chair. He always wants to come in the reading room, but it creeps me out slightly that he wants to lay down on my underwear, so I keep the door closed - unless I am not sitting down, then he will come in and jump up on the sink for a drink of running water. All three of them will go into the WC with my wife, though.
The youngest, Phoebe, will come into my computer room, meow hello to me, rub herself all over everything, then hop up and sit on my lap, which usually ends in a kitty-love session where she crawls up my chest to cuddle with me, laying like you’d hold a baby to burp him or her. I was the first person to hold her when we picked her up as a tiny kitten, and that’s how I held her on the ride home. I like to think she remembers it, and finds it comforting.
The unconditional love you get from kitties is extremely humbling.
Yes. All seven of them. They return my affection with varying degrees of enthusiasm, depending on whether they have urgent cat-business elsewhere. I kiss my dog too, but like the cats, not on the lips.
