I give my cats smoochies on the cheek or the top of the head. Schrodinger loves it, Conan hates it. They don’t come in to watch me on the throne, but Shcrodinger will follow both me and my mom into the bathroom because he knows that the faucet will be turned on and he love to get a drink of water from the faucet. When I take a bath, Conan usually wanders in to look at me as though I’ve gone completely insane- after all, would a creature in its right mind voluntarily immerse itself in water? Schrodinger likes to drink from the tub, then lay on the toilet lid for a while, to see if I’ll turn on the faucet in the sink…
I kiss my kitties in that warm, furry, sweet-smelling place right behind and below the ears, on the neck, sort of. Trouble loves it. Molly loves it if she’s in the mood. Punkin doesn’t mind it.
They all visit the library witn me or my husband every chance they get. It’s gotten to the point where hubby announces his intentions…“I’m going to the bathroom, Molly, you comin’ with me?”
What is it with the neck-biting? I have two neutered male cats, Shadow and Harley, and Shadow does this to Harley sometimes. Harley doesn’t seem to mind, but it looks like it hurts. Is this gay kitty love?
I usually don’t kiss my little pigdogs, but I constantly tell them how groovy they are, nuzzle their necks, and pet, rumple, and romp with them often.
Pookie and Ellie are the bathroom kitties: for the floor mat outside the shower (the better to get dripped on when we step out), or to hang out while we use the throne.
Hmmm. I was wondering why my 9-month old Siamese male kitten climbs up on the back of my 10-year old Siamese female and bites her on back of her neck - he only does it on occasion. They sleep curled up together, and are both “fixed”, so perhaps it’s just a control thing?
