I, for one, think it is high time that this menace to society as a whole has been brought here for her just rewards. I can’t believe it has taken almost ten years on this board for someone to out her for the knavish knave she is! It is clear to me that this Cat Whisperer person is a racist and a hypocrite and that there is no conceivable punishment that could possibly make up for the fact that she has dedicated her entire life to spouting her hateful, evil remarks all over the internet. Fie on you, Cat Whisperer! Fie!

Time stamps don’t mean anything. She could have seen the post for the first time five hours later and responded to it on the spot, “without thought.” Not all of hang out here every waking minute of our lives, you know.
On one hand, BMada is taking this way too seriously. It’s not that big a deal. As he pointed out, nobody is 100% racism free (although we try our best). On the other hand, everyone seems to be making fun of him because he doesn’t know how to make his point clear, and because he didn’t know a rule that not even the mods have felt the need to come in and specify.
The thing about the Pit is that, while it is a place to rant when you are angry, those rants are held to pretty high standards. IF people think what you are getting mad about is silly, the pitting will become a pitting of the OP.
And sorry about getting your gender incorrect. I think it might be because the way you talk reminds me of some of my Asian friends overseas, most of which are female. I know you said you were Korean, but was that part of the joke, or are you really Asian?
I have two more reasons: 1) in addition to being unable to make his point clear, he writes like a stone cold illiterate, and it makes it hard to even follow his sentences. When I read such a slobbering, rambling, incoherent rant, I get so annoyed at the writer that I want to punish them for it. 2) he got stupidly worked up over something and started this thread without even bothering to finish reading the conversation he was ranting about.
I think that was just a side jab. No biggie. I know I mentioned it in jest; it’s a stupid rule. It looks to me like muffin decided to focus on it simply because BMada decided to try to claim there was some kind of rules violation in the way he was quoted, which was pretty damn dumb.

Let’s examine the correction.
There is no apology made to the audience to retract the first statement of racial stereotyping just a rearranginig of words to give us the view that Natives don’t earn or deserve discrimination, they just reinforce it with what the author sees in her perspective. Although most of us will agree the Native Canadians are generally seen in a negative light in terms of racial stereotyping. The addition of the last phrase that racial stereotyping isn’t right so the author is given a peace of mind that no racial stereotyping has been committed by hers words within the correction.
Seriously “<snip> I meant that there are a lot of Natives who are actively participating in creating the situation of discrimination for all Natives, <snip>”, isn’t this still in fact perpetuating the racial stereotype? This is an opinion based on pattern recognition, a personal observation, that is still leaning towards the negative view of Natives. You arm racists with your observation. They have a sister in racial stereotyping that agrees to their views. You have still in fact reinforced your ignorance with a more politically correct way of saying something you believe and disagree with. You need to really read 1920s Style “Death Ray”'s reply and absorb it.

You cannot grasp that your pattern recognition has led to a racist stereotype; therefore you find no fault on your side. You feel no need to apologize for reinforcing the racial stereotyping being done because you believe you haven’t perpetuated the negative stereotype when in fact you did and still do. I hope that you realize that perpetuating a racial stereotype is indeed, not right.
