It is funny, except that I’m wanting to go to sleep and I can’t until he’s done. Aside from the vocalizations, he weighs 22 pounds and it shakes the bed. :eek:

My (neutered/spayed) pair do the same thing. Seems to be cyclical, in that I’ll find them doing the deed* several times one week and then nothing for months. I dunno. I file it under, “cats is weird.”

*There’s no penetration, and none of the yowling and growling and hissing and spitting that accompanies true cat intercourse. Just neck biting and humping which she mostly puts up with and occasionally tells him to GTFO.

This sounds like what my 2 cats do. He’s about 8, she’s 4, both are fixed. Sometimes they act like they’re best buds, sometimes she’s obviously just tolerating him, sometimes she does NOT want to be bothered.

Fortunately, the male cat and our pug like to rassle and chase each other around, so my fluffly little girl kitteh can relax in peace as she prefers.

My kitties French kiss sometimes. I have a neutered male and female and I’ve caught them at it multiple times. No sex though. At least not that I’ve noticed.
