Her behaviour is consistent with sociopathy; incessant lying, inability to hold down jobs, using other people, an unrealistic expectation of how others will react to her behaviour. In all likelihood, yeah, she just got sick of it, and doesn’t have any feelings for other humans.
So sad. I hope they’re able to identify who it is - even if it’s Caylee. Did they ever figure out what the remains were in the bag they found a month or so ago? (bones and some shamrocks in a bag?)

I just figured out how Casey turns on the tears so easy. I was watching the Aug 3 visitation tape with her and Dad. As soon as he started talking about sad stuff, she was wiping her eyes with the tip of her finger. I’m betting she’s got soap under her fingernails. What a piece of work. They could have tape of her actually killing her daughter and she’d be claiming it was somebody else. :mad:

Did anybody see the Anthonys on LARRY KING last night? I don’t know whether to feel sorry for them or want to slap them. Questions posed by nitpickers such as “If Casey’s such a concerned mom why didn’t she tell anybody for a month that Caylee was missing?” and “Why was she going to parties?” and the like were dismissed as “well you don’t know the whole story”. The completely discredited “it was spoiled pizza, not a decomposing body like I orginally said it smelled like” was resurrected, and the fact that Casey has been caught in about 182 lies already weren’t mentioned at all.
I can understand wanting to believe in their daughter’s constantly changing and provably false stories, but Occam’s Razor people! BEST CASE SCENARIO: Your daughter’s an irresponsible fucking bitch who if one of her versions IS the truth should still do prison time, be sterilized by the state, and never let within 500 yards of a child as long as she lives- and that’s not only the best case scenario but it’s the one nobody really believes but them.

Only it wasn’t a turtle shell. It was a man’s skull. They identified the man from one of those metal Social Security cards - it was about all that was left of his wallet. He’d been murdered 10 or more years before.
Usually it seems they’re found by a hunter (as mentioned) if the body’s in the woods or by a guy or woman walking their dog if found in the city (Chandra Levy and others).

Conceivably, but more from bugs and external parasites rather than regular decomposition I would think. I’m surprised nobody noticed a smell; I had a rat die in the walls of my house and I can still smell the little bastard at times long after I removed it.

Since finding children skulls is a fairly rare event, one would think that it is probable that this is Caylee’s skull.

Evidently it can be pretty difficult to tell gender from a child’s skeletonized remains, even if you have the whole thing. If they can do DNA, of course, that will tell you.
Only I was referring to a comment about a child who looks like Caylee being spotted at an Orlando mall.
What if the grandmother doesn’t allow any samples taken form her for a DNA test? Since the mother is in jail can the state force a DNA sample from her or are the investigators SOL if she wont volunteer one?
IIRC a court order can force Casey to provide a sample. Legal Dopers, some help on this?
