Celeb attractions you can't explain

I don’t know if she qualifies as a celebrity but the Judge on “The Peoples Court”. The Red headed lady. She just turns me on. I think it is the fact that a)she is good looking and b) she is so confident with herself.

I tried doing a google search for her name but I couldn’t find it.

Another vote for Steve Buscemi. And Robert Sean Leonard, who, while attractive, isn’t really my type.

Wait, um, yeah he is. N/m. He’s still hot.

Britney Spears.

She’s a stupid, artificially produced bimbo who can’t sing and represents almost everything I hate about pop culture. Hell, her parents couldn’t even spell ‘Britanny’ right…

And yet, I find her strangely compelling.

Oh. Yeah. :sigh: I will admit to hanging out on a corner a couple of months ago, watching slack jawed as he and perky Kathryn Erbe filmed a scene for L&O:CI. I probably made a fool of myself staring and drooling like a pathetic teenybopper, but he’s eminently huggable looking. And tall. I like tall.

I’ve read that he loves kids, and when people have kids with them while they gape at a “public” shoot, he often will approach and say hi. Don’t think that I’m above using the soon-to-arrive (please!) Baby tlw for these purposes!

A third vote here for Drew Carey. I think it’s the glasses.
And I have to second Christopher Walken as well. Pepperlandgirl, the whole scary Walken thing is exactly what does it for me.
OK, here’s a few more:
Willem Dafoe
Sam Shepard
Prince, the man oozes sex, but is not really “attractive.”

God alone knows why, but I used to have a wicked crush on Helen Mirren. I couldn’t even bear to watch her movies for a few years. She’s not particularly attractive, and she can’t make up her mind whether to be haughty or skanky, but she seems to have something heavy weighing on her mind, and that just got me for some reason.

Also, Vanessa Redgrave. A bit too blue-blooded for me, but those eyes … sigh:(

Helen Hunt. Even I don’t understand why.

I am in mad, desperate love with Nigella Lawson. When she goes to the fridge in her PJ’s in the last scene, I melt.

June Lockhart. I have no idea why.

Marc

Martha Stewart. What got to me was when she was on Jay Leno and not on her set. There’s something about her personality that really compels me - if I was around her Id feel the urge to make physical contact with her as much as possible.

Oddly enough, when I first read the title of this thread and before even reading the first post, the first person that came to my mind was Anna Paquin! I’ve thought she was incredibly attractive since the first time I saw her when she was like 13 or so (no, I’m not a pervert – I was about the same age too! :D) She’s only gotten prettier since then.

I’m not sure it’s quite as unexplainable as it seems, though. It’s a combo of her pouty lips, exotic eyes, lily white skin, gorgeous red hair, and what used to be a wonderful New Zealand accent. Sadly, she seems to have lost that since moving to the U.S., and some of her charm went with it . . .

Really, I’d take her over a spindly chick like Julia Roberts any day. . .

Bill O’Reilly

Mmmm… Christopher Walken.

Yeah, I have the same bizarro attraction here. I think part of it is his confidence – he walks differently, he’s a trained dancer so he just has that natural gait that’s so confident.

This one isn’t me, it just boggles my mind… Why do people think Susan Sarandon is hot? It looks like her eyes are ready to pop out at any second…

My picks: Fiona Apple- there’s something about that smoky voice…
Carla Gallo (Lizzie from “Undeclared”)- My friends all say she’s kind of weird looking, but I adore her

It’s ashamed that show was canned.

Neil Lennon, Celtic FC midfielder. He’s pudgy and ugly and yet I want to shag him senseless. No, I don’t understand why either …

I find Geoffrey Rush attractive - whether he’s playing goofy Philip Henslowe in Shakespeare in Love or smooth Francis Walsingham in Elizabeth. He’s just a lot of fun to watch - whatever he’s doing. He’s got that look in his eyes…

I second Benicio del Toro.

Neither of these men are what you’d call conventionally good-looking. It must be charisma - although I understand former Pres. Clinton had that in spades. Can’t say as I ever found him attractive, though.

Gary Sinise. My knees practically melt when I see him.

Billy Bob Thornton
