Celebrities who have a surprising spouse or girl/boyfriend

Did anyone watch I Think You Should Leave? Remember the Calico Cut Pants sketch where they guy gets some pee on his pants.
Him and Cecily Strong.

Funny, Dung_Beetle. I’ve always thought of Wilder as a below-average looking guy, a total non-movie-star sort of guy who was a success on the basis of his talent. (I’ve also been told that I look like a cross between him and Richard Dreyfuss, btw, which I did not take as a compliment. Basically: “You’re kinda homely, Roger_That–you understand this, right?”)

Whoa, sounds like I would strongly disagree! Unfortunately I look like Gilda Radner.

Ah yes Lyle Lowett is a good example

For a long while people wondered how in the world Pete Davidson was dating Arianna Grande. Of course then Davidson started dating Phoebe Dynavor (of Bridgerton fame).

Gilda Ratner had a lot of qualities, beside her looks, she was witty and intelligent and not too bad looking. She was a dish

I will never understand this marriage, on so many levels.

I’m guessing Guilfoyle wanted to marry into importance and fame. It doesn’t matter what political party they were. She could adapt.

Yes at the time it was considered as a joke, just a proforma

Agnetha Faltskog of ABBA had an obsessed fan, a Dutch forklift driver who followed her to the secluded Swedish island where she lived.

This fan, Gert van der Graaf, somehow talked her into starting a relationship with him – and it lasted two years. (She says she was depressed and he wore her down.)

When she finally broke it off, he continued to stalk her for several more years.

They split up a few years ago, but I could not have predicted Sarah Silverman and Michael Sheen.

Based on when they were together, I’m assuming they met while shooting Masters of Sex.

He was also with Kate Beckinsale for quite a while.

My celebrity crushes tend to veer wide of the “classically beautiful” or model-types. Beckinsale is a definite exception. Dyn lwcus iawn ydy Michael Sheen (lucky Welshman he is).

I thought they were perfect for each other.

Conservative activist/radio show host/author of The BOOK of VIRTUES William Bennett once went on a blind date with singer Janis Joplin.

Sonny and Cher. Gregg Allman and Cher.

It seems that they were. To me, it was the marriage of an 11 and a 4.

Elizabeth Taylor and Larry Fortensky.

Mickey Rooney and Ava Gardner

Steve Coogan, aka Alan Partridge, and Courtney Love. It’s not their looks, it’s their personas and the spheres they - to the outside world - worked in.

I wouldn’t say he’s obviously handsome, but he’s definitely not ugly. He has a very friendly face, and a lovely voice. Voices are under-rated. For example, Alan Rickman could have been ugly or sexy, until you heard him. (And obvs YMMV).

Richard Dreyfuss is not bad looking either TBF (or at least when he was famous). Even without movie star money he’d probably not have any problem finding a date.
