Celebrities who have a surprising spouse or girl/boyfriend

Yes, you win.

A lot of people are surprised when they find out who married Dax Shepard.

I am usually clueless as to which men are attractive to women. Anything below a ten I have no idea about. I caught a few episodes of The Americans and I thought the two leads were not believable as a couple. Matthew Rhys is a good actor but who would believe such a plain looking guy would be married to a beauty like Keri Russell? Apparently Keri Russell would.

Well thats odd

Micky Rooney and anyone id say

Arthur Miller and Marilyn Monroe have always struck me as an odd pairing.

Who was who? I would say they were about equal.

Elizabeth Taylor’s eighth and final marriage was to Larry Fortensky, a construction worker who was 20 years younger than her, and whom she met while they were both going through rehab at the Betty Ford Center.

Another cute couple. What is wrong with you guys?

How did he afford the Betty Ford Clinic?

His Wikipedia entry says that he was a member of the Teamsters, and that his union-provided medical insurance covered the rehab.

Mick Fleetwood boinking Stevie Nicks always gives me the willies!

When I saw Gene Wilder in Blazing Saddles, I thought, “How have I missed seeing how attractive this man is? Those blonde curls, those twinkling blue eyes!” He’s not classically handsome, but classically handsome can be dull. (I also lusted in my heart for the undeniably handsome Cleavon Little.) I don’t understand why anyone found Wilder homely. And I wouldn’t mind looking like Gilda Radner.

The marriage of James Carville and Mary Matalin has always puzzled me.

Mentioned earlier, although your presentation is better.

Not as odd as Marilyn Monroe and Albert Einstein.

It’s all relative.

This feels like the intro to “Dueling Banjos.”

Holland Taylor (b 1943) and Sarah Paulson (b 1974)

and

I still can’t believe she dated Rush Limbaugh.

facepalm I skimmed the thread to see if it’d already been mentioned, and missed your entry. My apologies!

It happens. People “switch sides” for reasons that aren’t completely political. Or so it would seem – I can’t see into their heads, obviously.

See Arianna Huffington.

The average person has political convictions. Ambitious people have political instincts.
