Shows me as last poster because I replied to this but then moved my post to the thread I made about next year’s Death Pool, where I figured it would be better.
Well, it won’t stop me from playing, but “my way or the highway,” if you’ll excuse me, isn’t the way to lead an activity that’s supposed to be fun.
Besides, in the immortal words of Crash Davis:
Just because Baker agreed to step aside next year because you wanted to run the Death Pool, doesn’t mean you get to run the Death Pool. We who are the players in this game have some say in this too, and are perfectly capable of choosing who should run the Death Pool in 2017, should that turn out to be necessary.
Please help me understand the scoring for the Death Pool.
In my case, I have 66 points with 2 dead celebrities.
What does the third number represent?

Folks, I’ll make one comment about this and that will be it.
I gave up the Death Pool willingly. I have enjoyed it but need a rest. Who knows, maybe in some future time, if IT gives it up, I’d take it back.
I’d prefer the old scoring method myself but it’s not a big enough deal to stop playing. If one follows along closely one knows the rankings.
Let’s let it go, and see how it works out. I sure will be playing in 2017, even if I’m not running it, and I plan on having a good time.
It means how many of your points are unique. Most folks have zero, you note.
See CAMJAY at the top? He is currently the leader for both the “inside track with the Grim Reaper” award(most unique picks wh died) and the “Quality not Quantity” award (most picks who died)
