Same here. Been a Rush fan forever. Growing up in North Central Ohio our family was among the first to here them when a Canadian record producer gave Donna Halper at WMMS in Cleveland their debut album and she played “Working Man” on air. The rest is history. When my Uncle did the artwork for their Fly By Night album my older brother and I were hooked. He was a great drummer and lyricist. Hall of Famer. His drum solo’s are legendary
Fly By Night was also the first album with Peart. And you can certainly tell the change in style Peart brought to the band when you compare it with the self-titled debut.
With the death of Peart we have a new leader!
