There was ‘the Osbournes’, Anna Nicole did a brief tour and I guess Paris Hilton can qualify with ‘The Simple Life’. I’m not sure if the Gotti’s are celebs, but close enough, I suppose.

Before the whole concept is mercifully flushed down the drain (where it belongs), what freak show would you tune in to? I have two possible candidates:
Gary Busey, who’s wonderfully wacky, borderline psycho and a riot when he’s playing himself.
Crispin Glover is the next, just because it would probably be very, very weird. And possibly scary.

Oh Real Killers, Where Art Thou?- a reality show in which Robert Blake & O.J. Simpson travel the country in a VW Bus working odd jobs (ala The Simple Life) while looking for the men who “really” killed their wives.

Crispin Glover would be great though.

Also, Courtney Love. I suspect court hearings on every episode would get boring though.

Comedy Central had I’m With Busey, but it didn’t last.

Actors Catherine Oxenberg and Casper Van Dien have one coming up called “I married a princess”. Travis Barker of Blink-182 and his wife (a former Miss USA) have a reality TV show of their own in the works, too.

I heard Christopher Walken had been developing a cooking show for the Food Network, but I haven’t heard anything new about it in quite a while. The guy is weird, scary, extremely talented, very funny, and supposedly a great cook too, and I’m sure it would have been top-notch television.
