I cannot wait to see what this is going to be like. Anybody else looking forward to this?
I was at first looking forward for it, I like Busey…But the show just looks like another “Reality Show” where they just make Busey look stupid throughout it and have that kid play the straightman that gives confused looks everytime Busey does something strange.
At least thats how ALL the commercials make it look. I don’t even know why they call some of these reality shows “reality” when its obvious thats it rigged for the camera, like the Osbournes and Anna Nicole.

Please tell me ‘I’m With Busey’ isn’t meant to be a fuckin reality show. I thought it was a comedy show, with Busey doing crazy shit to draw a laugh, not some reality show…jeezes.
The show looks funny, but I’m terribly confused. Who the crap is Gary Busey? Could the comercials be any more ambiguous?
Gary Busey is one of the finest actors of our generation.
Ok, he only plays crazy-ass bad guys, but in that limited field he’s the best.
You might remember him as the crazy-ass bad guy in Steven Segal’s Under Siege or as the crazy-ass bad guy in Predator 2.
Why can’t you people export shows like this instead of Everyone Loves Raymond?

Well I suppose it’s all how you define reality. I imagine it’s more along the lines of Contest Searchlight or Wanderlust then Anna Nicole’s and Ozzie’s shows. A faux reality reality. I mean it’s not as if Adam de la Peña is a complete unknown. He’s worked at Comedy Central for at least 4 years. Not on any of the shows I really enjoyed unfortunately. It just looks like he’s idolized Busey and saw a chance to get himself involved in a project with him. Certainly there’s no winning in this thing. It’s just mentorship gone wrong.
I’ll say it’ll be better then Quinn, sorry I don’t bet though. Maybe even better then TV Funhouse

I conceed it was not nearly as good as TV Funhouse. It was however better the Strip Mall. But then not as good as That’s My Bush.
How can you forget that he WAS Buddy Holly in “The Buddy Holly Story”. He was a better Buddy Holly IMHO as a singer.
I heard Busey first, that’s all. I also saw Sgt. Pepper before I heard the original… The originals sounded wrong! Pity me.
Parts of this were actually really funny (most of Adam’s comments). Parts of it were completely random and stupid (the drag stuff). I’ll watch it again.
