Does it exist?
Are you being rhetorical?
Can you explain more what you mean by the question?
Because if it doesn’t exist… I would like a better explanation on what the hell has happened to my thighs in the last couple of years
as a bloke, i can guarantee all u ladies out there, that YES cellulite DOES exist, and if my girlfriend is reading this, remember that and avoid it like you do me when i come home drunk!
I, on the other hand am free to get as fat as i like, when i like.
I see lonely days ahead for you…

nahhhhhhh.
she wont ever leave me, she loves me too much!
dont i sound like a big headed, egotistical twat! lol
i dont mind a bit of cellulite on her, i know a good way of working it off!
Cellulite exists, but it’s just an appearance, not a specific type of fat.
You can “produce” cellulite by pooching some loose skin and watching the dimpling occur. Then let go, and the dimpling goes away.
Cellulite is sorta like the mattress on a bed, which is dimpled because there are strings holding it together. Where there’s a string, there’s a dimple. In skin, I think it’s some kind of fiber, though.
So we’ve answered the question-- YES cellulite exists (and as a women it sucks!!!)
But Mjollnir you say, “Cellulite is sorta like the mattress on a bed, which is dimpled because there are strings holding it together. Where there’s a string, there’s a dimple. In skin, I think it’s some kind of fiber, though.”
And I say not really.
Cellulite forms because all the muscles of the body are wrapped in a padding of fatty connective tissue. The fatty cells of the padding, bathed in a liquid medium, are held in place by a network of fibres, nourshed and cleansed by body fluids. These fluids cleanse the fatty tissue, when this process is slowed down, the tissue is flooded with waste materials that thicken into gelatin-like substance and hardens to form immovable pockets.
What causes this plague on women (and some men)?
Water retention problems.
Lack of proper circulation.
Dietary factors which include food additives, chemical preservatives & hormones.
But Mjollnir your were on the mark in your description of it, here’s how I heard it describe:
“CELLULITE is that lumpy, rippled skin appearance common to men and women of all sizes and ages, that one can not seem to get rid of! It covers parts of the body like a cocoon whether one has a weight problem or not. Often referred to as that “cottage cheese” look”.
Yum, is it lunch time yet?
No, I’m not being rhetorical. I ask the question because I see a lot of ads, directed mostly at women,
regarding “cellulite”; and I remember reading an article several years ago from a medically reputable source which stated that cellulite is simply fat, which is something the ads never mention.
I think the reason why they don’t mention that it is a fat in the ads is because “they” are trying to sell their products (creams and what not) and by mentioning that Cellulite is just a fat, then the consumer makes the connection that creams don’t erase fat, diet and exercise do…
which upsets the consumer because that means that they have to ACTUALLY do the work themselves to lose the fat (drabs), and it upsets the people making the product because it won’t sell (no more CHA-CHING $$).
(all of this is IMHO).
