It’s kinda weird what the dictionary says:
cel•lu•lite "sel-ye-'lit, -'let\ noun [F, lit., accumulation of subcutaneous fat, cellulitis, fr. cellule cell + -ite -itis] (1968)
: lumpy fat found in the thighs, hips, and buttocks of some women

Women only? Hey, men get it too. It’s not really fat per se, its an disorder of the fat holder membrane.
As a surfer guy, I don’t have much, I really haven’t looked but that swimming can keep your thighs & butt firm & the fat in it’s membranes.
