Central PA Dopers: a kitty needs a home

She’s a black medium-hair, declawed, and about six years old. Has all her shots.

No, I don’t have pictures, my digicam is on the blink (literally, something’s disconnected so all I get are pictures of static).

She belonged to my sister-in-law’s dad, but he passed away about three weeks ago. We’ve had her since, and are trying to socialize her. She’s hard to get to know and somewhat touchy, but can be a very loving cat for someone willing to put a little time in. She’s TINY, only about 6.5 lbs, with a big poofy tail. And finally, she doesn’t deal well with other cats, but we’ve been going out of our way to keep her isolated (so our cats don’t get used to her and then we give her away) so she might be able to learn.

We can’t keep her much longer, and all the no-kill shelters in town are full up at the moment. =(

Pics when I can.

ahhh… the poor petite dear… she is no doubt confused about her life.

i hope you find a nice home for her. have you put up signs in vet offices and pet stores?

We haven’t yet, we’re still holding out for the local shelter to have a slot (we’re on the waiting list). They’re very nice people there, we got one of our two cats from them.

Awww…I would offer to take her, but we currently have four cats in residence.

Bumping thread once for poor homeless kitty. =(

no luck yet?

poor kitty.
