Back when I ate cereal more often I’d blend, but you have to blend wisely. Cocoa puffs and fruit loops are not happy together.
In fact, I would buy cereal just to blend them. I’d mix regular corn flakes with frosted flakes to cut the sweetness or avoid undisolved sugar at the bottom of the bowl. When they came out with a less sugary frosted flakes it was even better because I could mix 1:1 and didn’t have to play the eight buns, 12 hotdogs game with my cereal boxes.
In all my years of cereal eating, I’ve never considered the option of combining them, but everything mentioned here sounds great. Oh man, I can’t wait for the next time I eat cereal to try this stuff out.
I’m completely in favor of it. I was bored the other night, so I mixed Rice Crispies with some Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Crispix. Plus some health-food mix. I don’t usually go nuts with it like that, but I like the variety. Cheerios and Honey Bunches of Oats are a good combination.
Lay the haystacks on a dinner plate
Pour boiling water over them
Grab another plate and squeeeeeeze all the excess water out over the sink
Add butter and sugar
This is one of my favorite pig-outs. I could eat this all day.
