Chaiyya Chaiyya

Just recently watched the movie “Inside Man” and this music was at the opening and closing. It’s apprently some Bollywood style music, and I thought it was pretty cool.

However, like the lyircs to Circle of Life (the ones in swahili), I have no idea what it means. It seems pretty repetitive, so if anyone knows the meaning, it should be a pretty short post

Wow, talk about service. Cool, thanks.

Is that Eric Estrada?

Otherwise, pretty cool, thanks again!

Nope. It may not look it (the quality of the transfer is poor), but the film Dil Se is from 1998.

Just watched the whole thing finally. Great song, and man can that chick dance! For all the talk of US singers being suggestive, they got nothing on the hotness of those indian belly-dancers

Here’s an article about the “music video” that appears at the beginning of the movie Dil Se: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaiyya_Chaiyya

You can find the movie on DVD and rent it from netflix.

Nope, that’s Shah Rukh Khan, one of India’s biggest movie stars. The songwriter is A.R. Rahman, a famous guy in his own right who writes a lot of Bollywood music.
