My dad asked me to stop and get a few things from a health food/all natural store on the way to his house the other night. As usual this ended up with me leaving there about $70 poorer because of all the interesting and weird things that I’d bought. Among them was the chorizoesque (yes, I made a word!) tofu that I had with my scrambled eggs this morning. Truth be told, it was quite tasty.

Right now I am supposed to be doing homework as I’m going to set up some stuff at a little farm and flea market tomorrow. Thus, I’ve declared this to be homework and laundry day. Tonight I’ll be doing some babysitting for a friend.

It’s still wonderful outside - all the way up to 70° and sunny. I’ve got a load in the washer, and a bunch of russets in the oven - after they’re baked and cooled, they’ll be sliced, scooped, then refilled with a mashed N.O.T./cheese/onion mixture, then wrapped and frozen for future meals. Yum!! I may even hold a couple out for supper tonight.

I combined irk with personal bidness this mornin’. I had to go to da 'Burg to make a couple irk related visits to host agencies. I also needed to get my car tags renewed, aka get extorted by Lee County and the state of Jawja cause I own cars, so I went by the tax office, paid the extortion fee, and now have two shiny new peach colored stickers for twuck and 'stang. I had to have them before next Tuesday so today is as good a day as any. I put this off as long as I can every year just cause I don’t like to give up the money until I have to go ahead and pay the extortion fee.

I am strongly considerin’ gettin’ outta here at noonish today. Ain’t in irk mode at all.

Oh and tomorrow I get birthday celebrated even though the day ain’t until Tuesday. Per my request we are havin’ hot wings and various dips with chips at the cee-mint pond as munchies. Dindin shall be bbq sammiches, coleslaw, and chips. Oh and my requested cake, a DQ ice cream cake. And beerverages, of course.

Sitting here with my window open to enjoy the cool breeze and some asshole with a loud stereo had to stop in front of the house. Where’s a laser gun when you need one?
Living across the street from a day care sucks, too much coming and going. Then there’s the dumb bitch who pulls up every morning and beeps her horn to let the day care mother know to open the door. You’d think she could haul her fat ass out of the van and walk her kids up to the door, or at least use her cell phone to call inside, but no, let’s disturb the whole neighborhood by blowing the horn. I just realized, the neighbors are probably waiting for me to say something, I’m the one who always does. Every neighborhood has its bitch and I guess it’s me.

Did I mention I am grumpy today?

I’m happy with the new medicine I got for Sah-dogs ear, even if it does stink. I think it’s the clove oil in it that stinks. Multiple vet visits and hundreds of dollars and an OTC medicine is what is working best. He is like a new dog, poor baby.

I love my butterfly bush but dammit it blocks my view and I can’t tell if both of the HFH vehicles are gone or not.

Had an early job interview that went VERY well. (I think, but I’m not the most reliable in such matters.) Now I’m going to go for a walk to conduct some personal bidness and take advantage of some gorgeous weather. While I’m out, I may as well get some NOL because I’ve got some irk to do this afternoon.

Bethany’s getting better. She’s had two doses of antibiotics so far and absolutely hates it. Squirting crappy-tasting goop down a cat’s throat is difficult enough with two people; it’s worse with one. I hope I gave her enough.

Load of whites in the dryer, and N.O.T.s should be done shortly. In fact, the stove just beeped…

Get a car horn and a 12v battery. Conceal the horn outside. Observe the bitch’s schedule for a couple of days. Ten minutes before her arrival, sound your horn every minute for ten minutes. This will annoy your neighbors at the bitch, and cause the daycare people to remember the boy who called wolf.

Just finished wrapping 24 baked, stuffed N.O.T.s and finding space for them in the freezer - no small task, that. Then I had a Klondike bar. **FCD **is on his way north, and I have to finish the tea towels and take them over to the store this afternoon.

For a lazy day, I’ve been pretty busy.

I walked Wally*World today while getting weekly provisions. Gonna try mowing the yahd tomorrow, but I doubt I’ll get it done without stopping.

ETA: Looks like another night to sleep on the back porch, too.

Howdy from da cave! Irk is over and I officially declare it the weekend! Pizza for dindin tonight cause OYKW has a gnawin’ and a cravin’. I was gonna do dawgs and fries, but I won’t complain about not cookin’. It’s hawt out!

Rockin’ glad the job interview went well. Appropriate/inappropriate appendages are crossed. Poor Bethany!

If you lived in my neighborhood I wouldn’t have to be the bitch.

I had a can of soup for N.O.L. I bought a lot of food for Sah-son, a bunch of treats for Sah-dog and some cases of Gatorade G2 for my mother’s bf but forgot all about getting stuff for me. So I’ll eat up the rest of the soup.

I managed to muster up the strength to order dindin on line. It was so exhaustin’!

Tea towels have been completed and delivered. I had a very late lunch - dunno if I’ll bother with supper or not - we shall see. Meanwhile, the house is still open and it’s still loverly outside.
