Charlie Sheen in trouble again!!

WAG: He doesn’t like them.

He definitely doesn’t like them. Years ago, I remember him testifying in court to ask the judge to throw Charlie in jail and not let him go to rehab, because he felt that was the only thing that could turn him around.

I love how the CNN reporter described her. “Ms Anderson is a porn actress, not a prostitute. A prostitute has sex for money; a porn actress has sex for money on camera. I just wanted to get that straight; we don’t want to offend anybody”.

Sorry Charlie. Laughing too hard??

Robert Downey, Jr. needs to sit that boy down and tell him to grow the hell up.

It bothers me when people equate Charlie Sheen or Lindsay Lohan with Robert Downey Jr or Drew Barrymore.

Barrymore and Downey were addicts. Lohan is a party girl and Sheen is a playboy. It’s not my intent to make light of addiction; but Barrymore at age 12 could have drank Lohan under the table… then picked her pockets and snorted the contents. Barrymore and Downey were liked and likeable in Hollywood; partly because of family connections, partly because those same family connections left people feeling that addiction wasn’t necessarily their fault. Sheen and Lohan - well, people aren’t really cheering for them praying for them to make it through. Nothing that someone like Downey - who owned up to the addiction and went to prison - could say to Sheen - whose poor, poor rep must be exhausted from making up excuse after excuse (laughing too hard?) - would help.

Missed the edit window but I wanted to make clear that I’m not equating Wile E’s quip with the sort of thing I was mentioning in my post, the defense of people like Sheen. I don’t care that Sheen likes to do massive amounts of coke and hang out with strippers - who wouldn’t? - but the man has five (I think?) children and a professional obligation to his terrible, terrible show. All night coke and ho binges followed by claims of an ear infection are in a different realm than Downey, Jr or Barrymore.

I wasn’t equating Robert Downey, Jr. with Sheen, but he’s someone who hit rock bottom and pulled himself up and turned his life around. It would just be nice if someone like Sheen could learn that lesson instead of continuing to find more rock bottoms to hit if not for himself then for his children. For the record, I think Sheen is an addict.

Well, looks like he’schecked into rehab. Hopefully it sticks, and he’s not one of those who checks right back out in less than a week.

Sheen has checked out of rehab and is advising us to avoid crack cocaine “unless you can manage it socially”

The vanity card from last night’s “Two & a Half Men”:

Sounds like Chuck is getting a little annoyed at his meal ticket’s behavior.
