Haha I’m not dealing with jail bait to those who may be concerned. He’s in college, planning on going into nursing school next year. We’re 7 years apart.
Thank you for the images of giant cocks. Y’all are so silly.
dogbutler, congrats on such a productive day.
swampybear, I’m not normally skanky, I promise. Just on halloween.
I miss my kitteh She had to move back to Oregon a while ago and I won’t see her very much except for when I go back to visit! I just emailed my Dad and asked him to take a photo of her and send it to me… Haha.
Glad you have a kitteh to purr and make you feel better, rosie
Thank you Sir! I haven’t been served in a long time, need to remedy that.
Irk has been incredibly un-timely for the past few days, a combination of very early mornings(5am today), late late nights and Fortyish has beaten me to a pulp. I am only awake because I have to work til at least 2am tomorrow night. No worries I have beer.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 75 Amurrkin out and foggy with a predicted high of 93 for the day. A nice Summer day in south Jawja. Mowage will and must occur today. We have a thirty percent chance of rain but that’s kinda normal for around heah. Thus I foresee bein’ able to mow after irk today.
$2.99 skanky is a state of mind. Be skanky for da squeeze. Trust me, he’ll love it.
Ok, that’s all I got for now. Rumbly tummy wants sustenance then I suppose I should purtify for irk. Ick.
Why would you send out a page of a spreadsheet converted to .pdf, call it “the latest list” but fail to indicate what has changed? I didn’t go cell-by-cell, but apart from a few lines having smaller text fonts, nothing looks different. I replied to the sender asking what the changes are, just in case I’m missing something. What I want to do is request that they send me the page from the spreadsheet rather than the .pdf.
Anyway, good morning. It’s cool this morning, but the heat will return today. Not extreme heat, but enough that we’ll have to close the house and turn on the air. ugh. Hand update: The swelling is just about all gone, altho it’s still a bit itchy. Oh, and today’s a no-crabber day - we’re off, so yay.
Tonight, we’re going to a community theater production of Tommy. How bad can it be?? Before then, I’ve got to get some groceries, and I may work outside for a while.
In case you were wondering, the peach upsidedown cake was OK, but **FCD **thought it needed more peach and less cake. So I won’t declare it a success. But it could have been worse, so there’s that.
Hurrah! It’s Friday at last - seems to have been a long week even though I had a bonus day off. And I got paid today too, which is even better since I wasn’t expecting that until next week. Better go and pay my debts now…
Three times yesterday I tried to post and got sidetracked so Rosie’s sig to all.
This morning I’m starving and have a headache but otherwise I’m doing pretty good. Going on a hike with some friends this morning, so that should be fun. Hope everyone has a good Friday.
We’re leaving for the coast today. My daughter’s wedding is tomorrow.
I had a busy day yesterday. I drove up to where they live, and then drove to McLendons, Lowes and Target to pick up stuff they’ll need for the wedding. My rig is now loaded with cinder blocks (for the firepit), chairs, tables, and one of the tents.
I still have to load a shovel, two coolers,a big mirror, and our stuff in there too. In fact, I still have to pack.
I didn’t pack last night, because after spending the afternoon north of here, fighting traffic to get back to my town, shopping for a dress (I hate shopping), and something else I didn’t back here until close to seven. Once I got back here, I had to wash out the coolers and wash the dishes in the house. By the time all that was done, I had just had enough.
So, I’ll pack today, load our stuff up, take the dogs to the vet for boarding, come back here, pick up the husband, and hit the road.
(((((Taters))))), I am exhausted for you after reading all of that. Have a wonderful trip and I hope your daughter’s wedding is everything you want it to be!
I hope my daughter’s wedding is everything she wants it to be!
I am slightly worried because her fiance keeps saying his family is not going to like the ceremony. Hopefully, the worry is all for naught. I just want it to be stress free, and fun and I want my daughter and soon to be son-in-law to have nothing but happy memories.
I think they were (and still are) slightly worried that my husband and I won’t like it. I told them it doesn’t matter what we think; it’s their day, not ours. We’ve already had our wedding. We’ve been nothing but supportive and they keep telling us over and over again how much they’ve appreciated the fact that all we do is ask how we can help and don’t fuss over the details.
After my next cup of coffee I’m going to have to wake up my son and husband and get them moving.
Taters, good for you for not micromanaging your daughter’s wedding. I’d say “Just relax and enjoy” but it sounds like you’re unable to relax… I’m sure it’ll be wonderful.
Back from grocerying - almost $90, but that should feed us for a couple of days… Plus there were some cleaning supplies in there, and fabric softener, so not all food. Anyway, it’s all put away, and I’ve mixed up a batch of teriyaki marinade for the fridge. I like to keep it on hand and I was getting low. Next up - peach jam! Then, who knows…?
