Well, what have I done so far this morning? Not very much. I did just come back from a walk, though. A long time ago I injured the ball of my foot on the same leg as my stupid knee. I keep hoping it will get better and it hasn’t so I decided to take some time off from walking and running but… It was just so dang beautiful outside that I had to go. The sky was bright blue and big fluffy clouds and it was actually nice and breezy.
Having trouble waking up enough to get ready for deheathenizing. Why do spouses and pets get affectionate when you’re busy or trying to sleep, but when you WANT their attention, they can’t be bothered?
So I finally break down and realize I have to go to the doctor, the tylenol isn’t even making a dent in the pain, I’m feeling nauseous, and the damn office is closed today for an emergency.
Of course I only find this out after I park the truck and walk to the door. The sign saying the Sunday hours have changed was visible but not the closed one.
I drove to the other place that’s open on Sunday and the parking lot was packed full.
So I went to the drugstore because I know there are some pain killer ear drops around, I can’t remember what they are called.
So I hunt and hunt and hunt until I find the ear stuff and they are out of the pain killer drops. So I got something different made for kids with stuffy ears. The pharmacist says they work for pain too.
In the mean time I am feeling sicker and sicker, I even had to sit at the counter for a minute. Sweat is pouring off me and my stomach is rolling.
I think I will grab a bag of dog food while I’m there, and it’s down the same aisle with the cleaning supplies. As soon as the smell hits me my stomach is really starting to churn.
I finally get up to the lone cashier and let a guy with a bottle of coke go ahead of me and the damn woman who is first in line starts arguing with the cashier about 30 cents. I think it was 30 cents.
The sweat is just pouring off me, I’m feeling wobbly and my ear is throbbing and my stomach is churning, and I’m starting to shake all over and that bitch is arguing over 30 cents.
If I threw up I was aiming for her.
Thankfully another cashier opened up and I apologized to the guy in front of me and grabbed it.
I guess I am sicker than I thought.
The ear drops are working a little, it still hurts but it’s gone from sharp throbbing to a dull ache.
To all of you who deheathenized today, hope it wasn’t too painful!
Since y’all like to post about the weather, and I never do, I figured I’d return the favor. Here are some pictures I just went and snapped to show you what the weather is like here out in the middle of the gulf of mexico!
$2.99 dang! It must rain a lot where you are. All I can see is water.
N.O.L. and a nappy poo have been had. Other than that I’ve been messin’ around on teh intartoobz and such. Soon I shall need to gussy up to go to my friend’s visitation. Ima go over to OYKW’s so’s we can go together and afterwards go grab some dindin perhaps at that most gourmet of all places, Three Squares Diner bein’ as we are above all things suave, couth and sophisticated.
Well, I think I’ve lost any chance now of reasoning with the housemate- if your boyfriend of three months trying to hand in notice to the rental agency for you without telling you isn’t enough proof that he’s a control freak, I don’t know what is. Now she’s not even coming back to feed her own pets (because ‘it upsets him’).
So… I’m starting trying to properly look for a cheap house share that will accept someone on benefits, (tough), and two fish tanks (even tougher), plus ideally a tank full of mice, because she ‘can’t take them’ and the fact that I can’t either is apparently irrelevant.
She apparently worked it all out though, she was going to take them to her mother- 200 miles away- by very expensive train, which she can’t afford- to look after, and it was all going to be ok, because she was going to use a ‘well insulated box’. Riiight
Anyway, in more news from da hood, a pedestrian just got hit (not badly, luckily, knocked down and shaken up) while on the pavement (sidewalk for thems what call it that) riight outside the house, by a hit-n-run driver
Never a day without drama here… Maybe at least I can move somewhere a little quieter. Not holding my breath though- I can’t afford much, at least without spending the money I just inherited, which I’m trying to save for a deposit on a flat once I get a job…
Some women like men who take charge of their lives.
My mother is that way and it totally disgusts me although she isn’t quite that bad. Well in some ways worse, her ex-bf was a drunk and she’d hand him the keys to her car because he was THE MAN and the man always drives. If her current bf was my bf I would have kicked his ass to the curb a long time ago.
But maybe that is why she has long successful relationships and I don’t.
There is only so much shit I can take and some man coming into my home and telling me what to do doesn’t work too well for me.
I overheard a friend of a friend complaining the other day that her bf isn’t jealous enough, he isn’t calling her 20 times a day to see what she is doing and who she is with. He takes her out to 5 star restaurants, compliments her every time he sees her, has introduced her to his family and friends, buys her nice gifts and she thinks she should get rid of him because she thinks he doesn’t love her.
Whatever, dumb bitch, all her exes hit her, she finally gets somebody nice and thinks he doesn’t love her because he isn’t jealous enough. I told her that maybe the reason he doesn’t think she is cheating on him is because he’s not cheating on her.
She’s too dumb to get it.
Anyway, not my business nor my issue.
Back from visitation for my friend and dinin’ at that five star establishment known as Three Squares Diner. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries. So did OYKW. His own though cause I’m selfish like that. They make a not too shabby burger and fries.
Nuts and sari for some people a good relationship is a bad relationship and a bad relationship is a good relationship. No accountin’ for stuff like that.
The wedding was a big success and we all had an awesome time. The weather cooperated and I’m even sunburned.
My daughter was absolutely beautiful and was just beaming. My new son-in-law was also quite handsome and was beaming from ear to ear as well.
The ceremony was brief, but we all liked it it and it fit both the kids to a T. After the ceremony, the partying began and it continued on until around 6:00 or 7:00 in the evening.
All in all, I’d say everything was a success. For those of you who are friends with me on FB, I’ve posted just a very few pics. I took almost 300 pics. I can’t wait to the see the other pics from the other wedding party members, as well as from the photographer.
I am quite tired today and a little dehydrated. Between the drinks on Friday night and then the drinking yesterday, I feel like I can’t drink enough water. No worries; I didn’t get fall on my ass drunk (although a couple of folks there did), but I did have quite the little buzz going there for a short while yesterday. Once I got some food in my tummy though, I was good.
