Cheapest place for UnderArmor-style clothing?

The title pretty much says it all. I’m looking for Under Armor-type compression clothing but I’d like to get it at the lowest price possible.

By no means does it have to be that particular brand, just a good price. It’s for a costume, so it doesn’t have to be incredibly high quality, either. My Google-fu is usually pretty strong and I’ve found some good spots, but I’d like to hear from the Masses before buying anything.

Thanks for any and all help.

Under Armour has factory outlet stores. I don’t know if there are any of those outlet type malls near you. I get mine at Academy Sports but there don’t seem to be any of those in your neck of the woods. I hate to say it, but Walmart sells Under Armour brand clothing, as well as knock offs.

I got some good stuff at Target a while back so I could go to winter playoff football games. It’s served me pretty well for that and soccer, as well as being the new (better looking) longjohns.

I second Target. You can get an Under Armor imitation fairly cheaply.

Official Under Armour is sold at good prices by Dick’s Sporting Goods, and can also be mail ordered from them.

You know, my years in the SCA made me think of something completely different.

Umm… never mind.

Thanks to everyone who replied…Dick’s Sporting Goods had the best variety with the best prices. Thanks, danceswithcats.

I got mine (Under Armour brand) on ebay for about 60% of retail. Of course the typical ebay suggestion - look for a reputable seller & read carefully.

Also, I recall seeing that American Apparel had quite a selection of tights. Lots of colors and a few styles. You might be able to find their stuff cheaper elsewhere too.

What are you dressing up as?

Your local TJ Maxx has actual Under Armour. I just got three shirts in blue, black, and burgundy for $13.00 to $20.00.

TJ Maxx gets some kickass stuff- always best to check in there every couple weeks.
Just remember to pay cash there.

Wait, why?

Yeah? Why cash? Did you have a bad experience?

I personally did not, but a whole heck of a lot of other people did.

The same reason people are using a lot more cash at Hanaford.

I’ve decided to become one of “those” people and dress up at a con. I’m going as Taskmaster.

I can’t resist - cheapest way to get Under Armor is to have your nephew sign a contract with them. They send boxes and boxes of the stuff. He was handing it out like candy for a while. Now he donates it to homeless shelters and the like. (My nephew is a wonderful kid.)

Fair warning, though - the underwear makes one’s Manly Bits ache like a bastard from the squeezing after about an hour. Those shirts will fit anybody, though - he got some XXXL and he outweighs me by about a hundred pounds, and they still fit me like a glove.

Yes, I threadjack.
How’s your nephew enjoying this year’s draft? No pressure, I assume.

Frankly, I don’t know what he thinks about the draft. I know nothing about football apart from what I picked up from my brother-in-law and my dad, and I don’t want to bore him by talking about subjects about which I am ignorant. (That’s what the SDMB is for. :D)

He and his wife got a new puppy. We talk about weight lifting, and bitch about the stock market. He shot a bison and had the hide made into a coat, and the thing weighs about a hundred pounds. Family stuff, like always.

It’s sort of reassuring to hear that he is the same kid I knew growing up - no swelled head, no arrogance. Like I said, he’s a good guy. Just like his father.
