Cheney: Terror Attack if Kerry Elected

**Cheney: Terror Attack if Kerry Elected**

Tuesday, September 07, 2004

DES MOINES, Iowa
“It’s absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we’ll get hit again and we’ll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States,” Cheney…

Sounds like the VPotUSA’s working a protection racket.

the asswipe.

So, ah…is that the same reason we got attacked in 2001?

Feh, he’s right. He just doesn’t mention that the “right choice” is Mr. Kerry. Bush/Cheney has already been devastating, we don’t need to get hit with that again.

All I gotta say is that Bush/Cheney make Michael Moore look more and more like Nostradomus everyday.

I don’t think he’s a hunchback, just a bit chunky.

When I saw this at the gym a half-hour ago, I just knew that there would be a pit thread about it when I got home.

Big. Fucking. Deal.

All Cheney did was bluntly say why his side had been implying the whole time. And guess what

THE LEFT DOES IT TOO!

How many times have you heard someone say that Bush’s policies will only foster more terrorism? Or that the ‘Evil Republicans’[sup]®[/sup] economic policies will cause you to loose your job? Did you call those people asswipes?

How about the fact that statistics make it TRUE that Bush has increased terrorism activity, and the fact that it’s a LIE meant to frightne voters to say otherwise?

I remember The Hunchback of Nostradamus. It was about a pyychic who lived in a belltower and went deaf and hunched from dodging bells. Eventually he dies, nut not before lamenting his hump and predicting WWI.

I’m kinda with muad’did as far as the “big fucking deal” part. So the bushies said something stupid…again. That’s barely even newsworthy anymore.

I bet that’s part of their plan, to jade us with outright stupidity until we don’t care anymore. Then lowered expectations will make it easier to vote republican :stuck_out_tongue:

I just can’t get over this:

Here’s a little lesson for ya; time for you to learn something new: Denial has no effect on the actual world around you; it only effects your own little private universe. It is an established FACT that Bush’s policies HAVE fostered more terrorism. Before you accuse others of subjectivism, you might want to find a more objective position from which to accuse.

Huh?

But, but…

When PSOE won the election in Spain, that was a victory for the terrorists, and the Spanish were being soft and caving in. But should “the left” win in the US, it’s an invitation to attack?

I’m too tired to do a search.

:obligatory 1984 reference:

Um, in Spain, the winner of the election had vowed to pull Spanish troops out of Iraq. Kerry has promised no such thing.

So, Cheney is practicing terrorism now: Vote Bush or else.

I know that lissener.
But the reactions on this board are another matter.
It’s 2.15 a.m. and I’m off to bed. I’ll see if I have time to do a search tomorrow.

Do you mean Quasimodo? Or am I being wooshed?

Dude, if you live somewhere that it’s 2:15 a.m. in the middle of the freakin day, you need to move.

Muad’Dib: In pretty absolute terms, Cheney is saying that a vote for Kerry is a vote for another terrorist strike. You seem to be under the impression that Kerry has said something similar about Bush. Can you please provide a cite showing that Kerry has declared that with Bush in the office, we will be attacked by terrorists again? I seem to recall him saying that Bush’s policies are having the opposite effect than what was intended, but I have not seen him liken a vote for Bush to a vote for another 9/11. Because if he did, I would not hesitate to call him a shit stain.

That could explain why they’ve let bin Laden wander free for so long.

You live in Seattle, and The Gaspode lives in Sweden, so…ah, forget it.
