This post sent me to google. Tyler Florence on Food Network website says it is Chicken Francese; which a subsequent search will turn up pages of recipes.

I noticed my last time at the local Chinese buffet that the little pastries were called “Egg Tar.”
For a long time, a gas station in our town advertised “CHICKEN DONUTS DELI” in the permanent sign on the side of the building. It’s changed hands and been remodeled and rebadged, but I still call it the chicken donuts place.
The big diner in town used to have menus offering, among other things, “Melted Pancakes.” We had the pancakes quite a few times and couldn’t figure out what was melted about them. But the diner recently got shiny new full-color illustrated menus. Next to the section on “Croissants” is a beautiful photograph of . . . an English muffin.
A friend had to do some serious persuading to get the fine-dining restaurant near her home to change the spelling of “mescaline” on their salad menu.
Mmm, chicken donuts.
I wonder if they also make salmon donuts.
One of the local lunch places had a sign announcing their “Re-Grand Opening”. As if the first opening wasn’t grand enough? :dubious:
In Austin, Tx back in the early 80’s, I lived in an area off of Riverside Dr. that consisted mainly of sprawling, low rent apartment complexes, commonly referred to as the “student ghetto” by it’s inhabitants. There was a ‘corner/convenience’ store called the ‘Zipp In’ with a sign that always had a (frequently and regularly changed) ‘weird’ message on it. The sign was high enough off of the ground that it was obviously not a ‘pranked message’.
Out of all of the weird, incongruous, random messages displayed on it, one of them, still stands out in my mind.

I once had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that advertised “Muscles with Red or White Sauce over Linguine”.
I took a photo of a menu at a local restaurant a while back. It read “SOD TACO.” I didn’t go in to check it out, but thought that didn’t sound like something that would appeal to me. Some time later I figured out later that “SOD” is actually “Soup of [the] Day,” so it was actually advertising Taco Soup, and yes both were in all caps.
Seen at the farmers’ market today, as a suggestion for how to use a squash they had: “Minonight women slice and saute this with butter”.
Took me a minute, but I think they might have meant Mennonite?
Now that’s taking the green movement way too far!
