I swear I’ll call Reza’s and argue with them about menus, really I will! Otherwise you guys may throw tomatoes at me on Thursday at lunch, and then I’d have to go back to work covered in tomatoes.
I won’t be at lunch on Thursday, so I won’t be throwing tomatoes, but it would be great if we could firm up Reza’s. I think it’s the last item outstanding on Gundy’s list.
Well, I don’t think we were successful in our attempts at bleacher seats, so we’ll probably end up with standing room only, or scalp some the day of the game. Last year we got great seats for the first Sat Cubs/Cards game for $40. Either way, I know I’ll be there! I’ll have to stop by Section 205 and say hi. . .

We’re probably the last ones to respond to this, but we will be in town the weekend of May 21 and will be attending at least dinner at Reza’s. (Eva dear, can you add us to the reservations?) I am a huge fan of the boat tour but don’t know when the rsvp deadline was for the reservations, so you guys can try to convince jeevmon to go when you meet him for lunch on Thursday.
Has Sunday brunch been decided? There is a great pan-Asian place near us in Wicker Park/Bucktown that has really cool dim sum weekends (Green Ginger Cafe. I don’t know how to put links in but they are on metromix.) It’s not that cheap but not ridiculous, either. We love them. If people are interested, I would be happy to work on the details.

Sorry for the late replies. We are housebreaking our new dog and haven’t been able to function as normal humans for the past 3 weeks. 
Note to all: we’ve had problems finding a restaurant that can handle a big group without prepayment or limited/buffet menu, so we currently have a reservation at Reza’s for 20 for a regular dinner. If we get more than 20 people interested in dinner, we’ll try to find another restaurant that will accomodate another 15 or 20. So if you want to reserve your spot, please speak up now.
Demo and Psy said in LJ they are interested in dinner, so we should count them towards the 20 people for Reza’s. Also, count me and UncleBeer in for dinner Saturday.
It’s definitely not too late to get in on the boat tour thing. Any preference on time for this? They leave every hour starting at 11am until 3pm. I was thinking that the 3pm might be a good choice, since it will give people plenty of time to get into the city, have lunch, etc. beforehand. I don’t know how many people want to do this, but I will call them soon and make a reservation for 10 people, and adjust from there. They prefer payment up front ($25 a head), but obviously aren’t going to get that. Group rates are available, but only for groups of 20 or more.

I’ve haven’t been to Chi-Dope in a couple of years, but Jane, who’s much smarter than me, has instructed me to attend. So I’ll be there.
Jane, can you book me a room for Friday and Saturfay night? The boat tour sounds good, but I’m a little leery of the “veggie-friendly” restaurant. I typically eat vegetables only when they are positioned as obstacles between me and hunks of meat. Otherwise there’s no incentive. Is there any suggestion that it may be a “carnivore-hostile” restaurant?
If anyone on the route from Madison to Chicago needs a ride, let me know.

A couple of caveats. El Hubbo will not attend with me; you people frighten him. Therefore, I would need to go with a couple (mayhap lno and elenfair?) or a chica (chique or easy e?) and share a hotel room for cheapness’ sake.
