I’m still thinking about it. My son’s first birthday is on the 20th so, naturally, I was thinking of having his party the following Saturday (which would be the 22nd, for those of you following along…

Not at all. I’m a meat eater myself and have had great meaty meals there. It’s Persian food, so shish kebab (HELLO! meat on a stick!) is paramount.
Y’know, if I do decide to come, I have a 7 passenger minivan. If more MNDopers want to go, we could just take that and then no one has to pay for all the gas. Just a thought.
Oh, by no means. They have some of the best hunks of grilled meat in the city. I’m normally not a huge carnivore myself, but Reza’s is one of the few places I get excited about huge hunks of meat (in terms of restaurants, anyway). It’s a Persian place; the Persians are masters of the kebab, but they are also masters of many other things as well, a fair number of them veggie.

Although I said I would go to the Shedd earlier in this thread, I’m about to begin a stint volunteering at the Field Museum, so I guess I’ll go there instead and indulge my weakness for playing the tour-guide. I expect to be a master of the museum by the time ChiDope rolls around.

To clarify, Reza’s is not a vegetarian-only restaurant, but they do have a variety of vegetarian entrees for those who want it. There are lots of meat-friendly meals as well.

I hadn’t given serious consideration to attending ChiDope this year, because I already have plans for the weekends before and after…however…I see that I can get reasonable airfare, and now I’m giving it some thought.
Anyone still needing a roommate for the hotel where Jane D’Oh is reserving rooms? Finding affordable lodging will probably be the deciding factor for me.
I will also be coming up with Mnementh, LaurAnge, and CuriousCanuck. If anyone has crash space for me, that’d be great. Or if anyone knows of cheap motels.
