Well, for the sake of the others, I should clarify that “the usual one-handed weirdness” does mean foods than can be eaten with one hand, and that this means the other hand is generally typing. And that I have seen jeevmon ingest actual non-healthy food items. At least his eating habits aren’t as quirky as those of some of his relatives.
(I do confess I hadn’t clicked the links. Lord, you two were meant for each other.)

And BTW, where are we going? Eva mentioned Hackney on Dearborn in the south loop, and no one objected or, more importantly, came up with any other idea, so I say let’s go with 1pm at Hackney’s.

I’m on the west side (Polk stop is closest). My problem is that I have pretty much only one hour for lunch (I don’t punch a time clock or anything but it’s a small office and more than that would be duly noted) so by the time I wait for the El, get there, order, eat, and wait for the El back, it could be hours. Especially in THIS weather, you know how the El runs.
Ah, you know? Screw it. I will just tell them I may be back late. I get here early every day so I can take a little longer. (Besides, in theory I am sort of the HR person so who’s gonna say something?)
So I will see you there around 1, depending on the El. (I will let jeevmon know via cell my whereabouts; worst case scenario he can order for me if I am late.)
Expect my presence tomorrow, then. What an honor for you all.

Well, it shouldn’t be too difficult. We’re on the boisterous side, and Zanshin is really, really tall.
I have a couple of Dopefest pictures, but most of them are me hanging all over JoeyHemlock, which I don’t think will help us here.
