Question is: what’s the overall impact of all these posts which are so short on reasoning and long of invective? Personally, I think they do have an impact, and that while some people are unperturbed by this type of thing there are others who find it aggravating and stay out.
Who cares? There are plenty of posts in GD which respond to him civilly and politely, because of, you know, the rules in GD.
Of course, racism itself is short on reasoning and long on invective. Are you equally worried about the racists incivility and lack of reasoning?
If racists find being called out on their racism “aggravating” and choose to “stay out,” so much the better.

Oh, yeah. This is his big play. He’ll point at transitory sociological, political or economic data as if that’s proof of genetics. Because, if you start looking at something like per-capita GDP in regards to genetics, then you have to start entertaining absurd notions, like there was some huge genetic shift in China at the start of the colonial period which made the Chinese less intelligent, but that shift reversed itself mysteriously when the Chinese implemented their economic reforms.
Of course, when you point out to CP the absurdity of using that kind of data for genetic analysis, he handwaves it away. Because he’s just a racist who isn’t interested in science.

Speaking of vile speech one of the supporters of the Chief, Chen019, seen many times in past discussions; came up as a Holocaust denier, he has not show up a lot after being told that even cranks are supposed to have limits to keep the pretence that they are just “following science”.

This is the game they play, hurl enough invective and hate toward a position that no one wants to admit they hold the position. They confuse shouting down the other side with numbers and invective with a having either a correct position or a winning argument. A few posters have pretty much admitted their tactic here in this thread. Not that it wasn’t obvious without their admission.
Thinking that people are different based on their “race” is like thinking people are different based on their sex. It’s old fashioned foolishness. Everybody is the same, and anyone who thinks otherwise should be called bad names and shunned. Maybe put into camps and re-educated, and if that fails, well, you know what to do with them.
This pernicious myth that people are different needs to be curb stomped into extinction, and anyone who differs with my feelings on this is a racist. And racist should be treated differently, we should label them, make sure everyone knows what they are, and then treat them like the inferior scum they have shown themselves to be. Obviously this is the intelligent and humane response to those who differ from the majority. Or anyone who doesn’t follow the true path of human dignity and rational beliefs.
