Oh man, ChiefScott really was one of the good guys. Sad news indeed.
I barely knew **ChiefScott **but when he returned to the board for a while I interacted with him a fair amount as we live in the same general area and were both Navy. He almost came to one of the DopeFests I use to host. I enjoyed his posts, he had the great ability to tell a humorous story well.
I read some of his older threads as they were so entertaining.
My condolences Girlbysea. I am sorry I did not get a chance to meet him and know him better.
I’m so sorry. I was not fortunate enough to have any interactions with ChiefScott, but it leaves a hole to lose a member of the family. My prayers and condolences are with his family and friends.
I remember enjoying his company at the Norfolk Dopefest about a decade back.

ChiefScott was one of those memorable posters whose threads stayed with me. I was impressed with the way he got to the bottom of the shoe polish business.
Even though I never met him in person, I’m sad to hear that he died.
Wow, so young! He and I exchanged comments a few times and I always enjoyed his posts. How unfair that he didn’t get to enjoy his retirement…
Me too! Whenever I see someone posting a string of 'em, I always look for him to register his humorous disapproval.
