I keep getting email postcards (with invalid retrun addresses) that say “Aren’t you going to defend yourself? ChiefWahoo has a hard-on for you.” I ignored them, figuring it was some clown at work they were talking about. Then I eventually come here and check my name to see if anyone answered a post of mine, which several have, and this turns up:
This is so random. ChiefWahoo seems to have a “chemical imbalance”, and based on the name, we’re not alking too much MSG.
Let’s review, Mr.Wahoo (sorry, I’m not impressed with titles)-
Easy toko starts a rant that jimsomething(not my fault he misspelled it) has used putz too often, and putz is stupid.
I respond, disagreeing and saying the guy can putz if he wants.

I know it’s popular in the pit to say there are only two opinions on any issue- yours and everyone’s who’s your enemy.
But actually, if you bother to read the posts, there are as many different opinions as posters and posters seldom are even responding to the same part of the rant.

If anyone is confused, AM/PM is referring to thisthread, in which Alphagene suggests he has some secret knowledge about a few posters in said thread.
If you will recall, this was during the “British Invasion” and it was widely suspected that it was 1 or 2 trolls with multiple sock-puppets causing all the trouble.

He was the honorable one. He didn’t speculate at people’s expense, but ran whatever tests he ran and kept the answers to himself. That’s how it should work, I think.
He had a lot more honor going for him than you did, so don’t try to act like you were just doing the same. You could have emailed your question to him, but you didn’t.
This is the second time someone has oozed out of the woodwork to revive this matter. There are no rules for newbies to follow other than those established by the moderators and administrators of this message board. I don’t like seeing anyone told that they have not yet earned the right to speak up. Apparently, AM/PM feels the need to defend himself/herself and react to perceived injustices committed by another poster. Right or wrong, all posters should feel free to do so. If you are right, you should defend yourself. If you’re wrong, you’ll be smacked down and become a better poster anyway.
Just for the record, saying Yojimbo is a better movie than Last Man Standing is like saying that Godiva Chocolate tastes better than frozen gobs of goose shit.

Pointing out an inconsistency in your rant, AM/PM was not ironic. The inconsistency itself was. You said everyone who posts in the Pit is a whiner (which is patently false), then started a thread in the Pit. Do you understand why I find that inconsistent?
I’m not at all sure why the number of posts I’ve made is important to you. Or are you claiming there’s some sort of conspiracy that I’m a part of? If so, please explain–I’d like to know how I’m being classified.
