Don’t Fear the Reaper
(based on his appearance. Plus he could definitely use more cowbell.)
For Bushco I would suggest theclassic Black Sabbath tune, “War Pigs.”
“Let’s Roll”

Firstly, save it for September.
Secondly, I’d recommend “The Liberty Bell March,” just because.
Does it have to be by someone famous? If not, then my choice is by an unknown singer/songwriter named Happy Rhodes.
As more people start realizing what’s really going on…
Waking Up (link to full lyrics and downloadable song)
We’re waking up
Yes it’s good
We’re waking up
Like I knew we would
There’s a breath of hope
For everyone to share
There’s a growing force
Of people who care
In all the years of struggle
It seems we’re making way
I have never been afraid to
Change the circumstances
Of the world
Cobwebs everywhere
It’s time for a deep sweep
I wish they’d used it at the convention.
Left a good job in the Senate
spoofin’ for the Dems every night and day
but I never saw a chance at the top job
‘til I got the nod from the Demo machine
spin doctors keep on turnin’
Dem voters never learnin’
KERRY! KERRY!
KERRY for the POTUS.
Pumped a lot of palms in Memphis
kissed a lot of butt down in New Orleans
but I never lost one minute of sleepin’
wonderin’ if I’d earned those medals I had heaved
spin doctors keep on turnin’
Dem voters never learnin’
KERRY! KERRY!
KERRY for the POTUS.
Rain on the scarecrow! Blood on the plow!
Fat man an’ his kids ‘n dog
Comin’ in through the mornin’ fog
Hey there Rover
Come on over…
(Yeah, I picture Kerry still blowin’ sunshine and smiles even after the world ends…)
Iron Man. Works if you want to make fun of his demeanor, works with his war record, works if you hate Bush.
I think they’re actually using a pretty decent crop of songs. They might’ve played Johnny B. Goode half a dozen times at the convention and it’s a little hokey, but it could be worse. No Surrender works, and Beautiful Day is nice.
