I LOVE this ad! I saw it in the US. I’m surprised it hasn’t been banned yet. But I love it.

What a great commercial! I would buy that phone just on the basis of such a wonderful ad! But it’s bound to offend a whole bunch of zealots with sticks up their asses (OK, I have to confess, that’s part of the appeal. . .)
Cool commercial. I get to see it during Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. But they snooker me every time at the beginning, making me think it’s an Old Navy ad.
I saw this on tv and thought it was bloody brilliant. Only when i watched it on the internet did i notice that the tv version i saw was slightly edited…the creepy “pagan” guy was not in the commercial i saw…

Why would anyone be upset over this commercial?
I wouldn’t be upset over it…but there are some pretty big stereotypes in there that could be perceived as harmfull.
Well actually, at the conservative Christian site I’ve hung out at, they complained about this ad as another example the evil media trying to take Christ out of Christmas…inotherword part of the great anti-Christian conspiricy…inotherword further evidence of their persecution…of course that’s pretty much how they look at everything over there.
