You have no idea… (Agvania in Hebrew more-or-less literally means “Fucking Fruit.” :))
Best pizza I ever had was made by a mexican in a one room shack on an old dirt road in rural Ga. No way could this guy pass health code regulations, but damn could that man cook. I’ve had pizza from gas stations up to pizza made by actual italians, and this guy blew everyone else out of the water.
Wish I could find him again.
I’m partial to Hell Pizza - a chain in NZ.
Their promotion of their Lust pizza in 2006 included giving away condoms with their advertising material.
I got to try their Kaiju pizza just over a week ago - Tiger Prawns, Wasabi mayo - it was divine (except it could not be, by definition)
Putting the sin in cuisine, indeed.
And I see that they have now got two stores in London… I feel a visit coming on over christmas.
Oh, and I am a christian, but I think I can see the difference between a clever marketing position and things that really matter, spiritually.
Si
I recently ate a Domino’s pizza that had a cut up a Chick-Fil-A sandwich sprinkled on it and now I’m gay.
That’s impossible. Everyone knows gays have good taste!
You’re right, you got me. I did fart rather noisily though.
I am getting so tired of these self-righteous, ignorant, power-hungry, idiot, republican, religious assholes!!!
Actual, authentic Italian pizza is not much like what it has become in the US. Any Italian trying to be half-way authentic at his restaurant wouldn’t get much (good) acclaim for his pizza. And pizza places are an easy thing for immigrants to pick up on, so you get mostly non-Italians in the pizza trades in the US.
Sort of like Japanese restaurants around where I live. Most Japanese living here are 3rd, 4th generation or more, so they aren’t likely to be in the restaurant business, and most of the Japanese restaurants are actually run by Koreans. The plus sides is they often have soju along with sake!
Umm, There’s lot’s of people like that. (49 or so % of us by last count), but what about the outspoken of those, in the pizza biz, and the shitty quality of their pizza?
There must be foods conservatives do particularly well. I bet they’re in the meat, baked good, and fried categories.
I am a practicing Cafeteria Catholic. I have no problem with birth control and if the Catholic Church is honest with itself, it knows that most Roman Catholics actively practice birth control and have non-marital sex. Such is life. I don’t really care for Domino’s Pizza but I can tolerate it. That being said, my lack of partiality to Domino’s has NOTHING to do with somebody that used to be the CEO. I did notice a few posters here talking about Chuck E. Cheese restaurants but I think I’ll start another thread myself to address the issues that chain seems to be suffering from.
I thought this was a thread about Christian’s Pizza in Charlottesville, Va. Their 'za is delightful.
Sorry - they don’t do deliveries. From what I understand, their crust is so thin that it doesn’t retain any heat. which means that the pizza inevitably cools off before it can be delivered.
