I know that the GW Bridge was not closed. Something you were unaware of.

All of the toll booths were open, before, during, and after the Port Authority New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) operation referred to as Bridgegate. Main arterial traffic gained the use of two more toll booths.
The issue, the real(?) issue, I’ve been addressing is ElvisL1ves claim that the GW Bridge was closed. Which is was not. If he’s wrong about that fact, I wondered what else he might be wrong about.
You seem to object to SDMB members having such a discussion. Do you hold some position of authority here that I should be aware of?
Haha. No, I was aware it was a lane closures. What did I post that made you think I didn’t know that?
Have at it. I only address your errors, which sometimes seems like every sentence. :smack:
Only in your mind.
Why yes, yes I do. but only in my mind
Which reminds me: what the hell is “Democrat collective”?
LOL, I don’t know but I just heard Trump call Bernie a communist on the teevy, so maybe doorhinge has some inside info?
*collective
adjective us /kəˈlek·tɪv/
› of or shared by every member of a group of people:
It was a collective decision/effort.*
A Democrat collective would be a collective noun for a group of Democrats.
Pick your own -
A gaggle of Democrats?
A school of Democrats?
A murder of Democrats?
A covey of Democrats?
A bevy of Democrats?
A dole of Democrats?
A flight of Democrats?
How about “Democrats”?
Anyway, great. So it’s a term you made up, for obscure reasons. Fine. Just to be clear, do you likewise refer to a “Republican collective”? Just trying to better understand your idiosyncratic approach to the English language.
Just for clarification, which word didn’t you understand? Democrat or collective? ![]()
Would you like me to use the term “Republican collective”? If so, you’ll need to supply a little incentive, or at least show me your Bureau of Ultra Legal Lists Shrouded Heuristics In Tandem certificate for SDMB posts. ![]()
That’s OK, call Democrats whatever you want. You’ve made quite enough of a fool of yourself with that last couple of responses.
It’s far from the first time we’ve been treated to references to the “liberal hive mind” or “monolith” or “collective” and such.
For the collective term, I’ve always chuckled at “Demon cRat Party” and its variations.

Thanks.
